Quick Timer R8X PPC

This is software that creates high resolution timers for the control of relays through a relay control board. This is for use in Pocket PC.

Quick Timer R8X PPC is high resolution timer software for Pocket PC with WM versions 5.0 and 6.0. The software is compatible with the 8 channel relay boards from the National Control Devices company. It is specifically meant for the company`s ProXR cards. These boards are, in turn, used to control different relays in industrial control situations. These could be for lights control, science experiment, home automation, energy conservation and so on. Connections from the PocketPC to these boards can be made through either the Com port or through the LAN. Bluetooth, WiFi access also is possible. The software tool keeps monitoring the connections thus ensuring proper dispatch of control signals to the control board. The application will raise an alert if connection is lost and then tell you when it is regained.

The interface is like a display panel that graphically shows the relay and the associated time delay programmed for it. Start and stop controls manage when the time delay is to be applied ensure a relay is turned on or off after a given delay. The display also shows and identification of the port on which connection is made and the bit rate of communication speed on the same. In a industrial control or an appliance control situation, when you want to control multiple devices, this is a very handy tool in managing them. Time settings can be saved and reloaded again in future time.
